Yahoo email, menu language changes

So, when I joined TSF back in 2006, I joined using my email account and, until recently, all menus were clearly defined using the English language.
However recently Yahoo had been making changes to their site, resulting in the menus now showing in Greek language and Characters. For several days now I have been trying to find ways, using all my devices, to switch back to English menus. It's not that I don't read, write or understand Greek, more a question of I understand my mothertongue better than Greek, and it's not so strenuous on the brain.🤣
I have checked that my local profile shows US English, I have tried many different Internet sites and suggestions without any success to bring up English menus with the exception of actually declaring that I live on English speaking soil.
I spent some time yesterday chatting with AI or Artificial Idiocy, a total waste of time & space, only to be told in the final stages that I was welcome to phone an American Number from Greece, pay a premium for Support and the phone call for them to fix the problem that THEY have created.

The really weird thing is that when you go following their links to their help pages within my account, some come up in Greek where I have to scratch my head and wonder what the heck they mean but many others, probably outside of my email account, pop up in English.

So if any Yahoo email, Site coders or PR People are scouring for problems with YAHOO, please get hold of your bosses and let them know that their site sucks ... and they need to fix it ASAP. I am not going to pay someone to fix a problem that they have created, more than likely because they have employed AI or Artificial Idiocy to fix it for them "on the cheap".

Here is what I managed to savefrom the conversations.
Conversations since I was juggling between pages and each switch required me to remind, or try to remind, the chat bot that we had already started a conversation.

What idiots decided that they would show all menus in the country that one resides in ? I have been living in Greece since 1987, my account is from about 2006 and until recently when you folks decifed to continually change formats and stuff, the menus were in English as stated in my profile. Whilst I speak and write some Greek, I prefer to see everything written in English, but it seems you folks know different. I wonder how many foreign nationals living abroad are now searching om why some brainless idiot decided that they know better than the account holder. Please fix this ASAP ...

To change the language of your Yahoo account menus to English while residing in Greece, you can update your language settings by following these steps:

Access your Account Info page.

Look for Language on the bottom left of the page.

Click Update language.

Under Preferred language, click the menu icon.

Select English (US) or your desired English language option.

Click Save updates to apply the changes.

This should help set your menus to English. If you continue to experience issues, please let me know.

Note that having said the menus are in Greek they give the English equivalents of the menu titles, and there seems to be no relevance to what is said and where I eventually found the language preference, which stated quite clearly, English US.

The menu language is wrong because some idiot decided that everyone must have thr menus according to country of residence instead of the language given in their profile. My profile says US English. My menus are in Greek.

If you're looking for more personalized assistance, you might consider reaching out to one of our live agents by phone. You can call Yahoo at 1-800-761-4783 for paid premium phone support. Calls from outside the US are accepted, but please note that charges may vary.

So now you are telling me that to fix my problem that YAHOO caused I must make an international call AND pay to rectify Yahoos **** up !!!

Yahoo offers various support options to assist you. You can access free help articles at help.yahoo.com for guidance. Additionally, if you prefer speaking with a live support agent, this service is available for a small fee, as Yahoo aims to accommodate different preferences.

Yahoo is now just a moneymaking load of crap ... creating problems for their users and expecting the user to pay to get it fixed when it had been wotking fine previously!!

If you prefer to speak with someone directly, you can reach out to one of our live agents by calling Yahoo at 1-800-761-4783 for premium phone support. Please note that while calls from outside the US are accepted, the charges may vary.

You are part of the problem and sickness that is hiding behind Yahoos lack of empathy towards their users.

I understand your frustration. Unfortunately, the only in-person support option available for your request is the paid service mentioned earlier. However, I'm here to assist you with any other questions or concerns you might have. Is there anything else I can help you with today?

You are totally useless .. I suggest you shut yourself down!

If you would like to speak with someone directly, you can contact one of our live agents by calling Yahoo at 1-800-761-4783 for premium phone support. Calls from outside the US are accepted, but please be aware that charges may vary.

I suspect that yahoo are trying to make our lives difficult and force using their app.
One thing I learnt the last few days is that their new format checks the users location and gives the menu according to where you live and not according to your profile.
Likewise when accessing webmail the page opens with, in Greek,

Why are you using such an outdated method of access. With a link below that I thought would take me to my inbox but instead took me to GOOGLE PLAY to install their app. I had the app, until a month or so back, after some change that forced it on me, then something went wrong and it asked for my pin, which I didn't have, and there was no way to put my very secure password. I returned to web mail and recovered my account. I tried the app again but nothing changed so I removed it, using webmail since.
