Where are Chrome Bookmarks Stored?

Win 10 Pro.
I can export bm Bookmarks in an HTML file but I cannot find the source data. I have searched AppData Local, localLow and Roaming thoroughly even using DOS but cannot find them. Are they elsewhere?
Many of them are no longer organised or are duplicated many times. I could open the list in Chrome but that will take forever to fix them all
Is there a suitable extension available, I cannot find one.
The exported HTMS file is nothing but a list of links.
Thanks in advance. :)

If you Sign In to Google Chrome with your Google Account User Name and Password, All Bookmarks, passwords and settings are saved in the cloud. If you sign in to another instance of Chrome on another device (ie) phone, tablet, or another computer, everything will be synced and imported, no need to recover your bookmarks. Sign in & sync in Chrome - Computer - Google Chrome Help

I read that the other day but I could not get there from here, your guess is as good as mine. I do not have any files or folders hidden, they are always visible.
For some reason or another, I could not find the LOCAL, no matter how I tried not even using a DOS command. Today I tried again about five times and there it was.
Can it be opened somehow in a mode suitable for culling by deletion of many duplicates? Maybe as a CSV file or another type?
It took a lot to find it. I shall save a copy so that I have it and can see what I can do with it. If I experiment with the file, I won't screw up the original.

Under your User Name, can you find the Hidden file AppData? It will be greyed out but visible if you have Hidden Files showing How to Show Hidden Files and Folders in Windows
Or you can press the Windows key+R in the Run box type %appdata% and press Enter. This will load the Roaming folder inside the AppData folder, now go Up one folder in the directory to see the Local folder

I did find it, I mentioned that in my last post. The file is in HTML so is not useful for organizing or deleting etc. If I open the Bookmarks in Chrome, there are dozens of duplicated empty folders and many hundreds of duplicate bookmarks
that I want to get rid of. If I have to deal with them one at a time, it will take me many days of 24x7 effort. There has to be a way to deal with this, an extension maybe, but I cannot find one.
I have turned off my sync service, maybe this was part of the reason they got so cluttered, I have several PCs and laptops that are on 24x7 spread around the premises. They are all networked wirelessly.

Import all of your bookmarks into Chrome then use this Extension to cleanup duplicates. Bookmarks clean up
If you Sign In to to Chrome with all your devices and choose to Sync the settings, all devices will have the same bookmarks, settings and saved passwords

Good idea. I've turned off sharing for now and will delete ALL the bookmarks on my secondary machines, fix the ones on my main machine then share them again with the other machines. That ought to fix things.
Do I have a LOT of bookmarks? Yes and I am wondering how I ended up with so many EMPTY bookmark folders too.
