[SOLVED] Wireless disconnection

Hey, well several times a day lately my wireless adapter is disconnecting from the router, it doesn't automatically reconnect, I have to do that my self. The router isn't disconnected as other people are connected still. A few weeks ago we had this problem but I fixed it by making a white list on my router as I saw random people connected- most likely bro giving details to neighbors . Stopped the disconnecting for a few weeks.

It disconnects at random times, sometimes can go whole day with disconnection. But some days it can happen every 5 minutes, very stressful :banghead:

For some one to help me you may ask some of these questions which I'll answer.

My pc is windows 8.1, my wireless adapter driver is updated, I have scanned my computer for viruses with malware bytes and a boot time scan with Avast which are both updated and found nothing.

My router is a huawei hg635. Iapoligise for the other things you need as I really don't know what I'm doing for diagnostic of wireless.

Thanks.

Re: Wireless disconnection

Change your wireless channel to 6, instead of 11. Your computer is most likely switching connections between your router, and the SkyC408B connection.

Re: Wireless disconnection

Your (wireless) download speed is dependent on how many other systems are using the wireless connection, or any RF interference.
