[SOLVED] Empires: Dawn of the Modern World Error

This is a old game, but if you could, please help.
Ok, when i try to start Empires up, it doesn't work. Instead, it says "Sound Failed to Initilize" and the start exits.

I have Windows XP Service Pack 3 and 504 MB RAM. I have reinstalled but no difference. If you need more info, please ask, I will check back often.

Oh, i forgot to post my system specs.

CPU Info: Intel(R) Celeron(R) M processor 1.50GHz

Power Supply: I can't seem to find any info for my power supply. Although, I easily get enough power for my computer to run.
