Hello everybody!

Im having troubles with mi PSU... after shuting it down, the PSU remains on and the fans keeps spinning..

The front led power and all lights remains off. If i switch the power button of the power supply off, the PSU turns off properly and obiously the fans stop spinning, but when i turn it on again, the fans keep spinning and i can even can hear the DVD drive turn on...

Ive tried disconecting everything from the motherboard and drives (i frist switch the PSU off from the back button) and then i switch it back on and the fan from the PSU itself starts going on...

What should i do?

Thanks for your time!

Okay, here are my pc specs:

Athlon x4 2.9 Ghz
HDD 500GB
2GB DDR2 RAM
GTX 560Ti OC edition
A-Power AK Series 800w (yeah, a bad generic PSU)

So i think is my PSU the faulty one...isnt it? it havent done that before (so i dont think its an automatic cooling system)

Sorry for my bad english...

And thanks for your time again!

Oh i see...yeah i was expecting that answer, okay...could i get in any trouble if a continue using my PC? when i turn it off, and switch the power button of the PSU to kill all energy and when i want to use it again, i just turn it back on, next week prob i am getting a new PSU.

That would be your decision.
Personally, I would not use the PC until the PSU is replaced with a good quality unit that is capable of supplying sufficient power. Continuing to use that PSU puts your other components in harms way.
