Recently purchased printer worked fine for approxiamately 30 pages of mostly black ink. when trouble arose the device indicated out of black ink. Following refill from over the counter refill kit the printer successfully printer a text page and with reluctance I was able to encourage it to print 5 pages and the indicator continues to flash, restarts and troubleshooter wizard suggestions fail to address the ability to get printing results at all now. I reviewed this issue with a friend suggesting that the cartridge needs to have the cartridge chip reset. Short of replacing with over the counter "HP" cartridges, is there any options?
