I have a Samsung A13-5G phone. I stupidly installed a weather app and it TOTALLY screwed up everything on the screens (made icons smaller etc.) I tried to go to the installed app(s) to uninstall them but the "uninstall" button for each app is grayed out and I can't go that route. Question is there a way to do a factory reset without losing my contacts. Is there a way to download or email my contacts before doing the reset? Why would the "uninstall" buttons be grayed out? Thanks for the help as always friends!

Unless the store can do something, it looks like you have to copy all your "stuff" to another device (PC, Laptop,Tablet etc.) and hard reset and reinstall everything. Samsung A13-5G doesn't seem able to do what Post #2 suggests. I just checked my later Galaxy and the first step was available i.e. backup with Google. Another idea, besides the store, try your providers' tech support using a phone other than the one you'll be working on. Put on speaker so you'll be able to work with your hands.

As stated, Backup your phone (as everyone should anyways) to your computer, tablet etc Using Smart Switch

Do a Factory Reset of your phone, and then Restore your backup using Smart Switch
