When I try to open, it gives me this message:
"The operation failed due to an installation problem. Restart Outlook and try again. If the problem persists please reinstall."

Well, I don't know how to restart it. I have powered down and back up again. That does not help. I am using Microsoft Office Word 2003 and a PC running Windows XP.

Using MS 2003 and Windows XP. Outlook must have gotten corrupted or ??:sigh:
When I try to open it I get this message:
"The operation failed due to an installation problem. Restart Outlook and try again. If the problem persists, please reinstall."

Any ideas, please let me know.
Thanks,
millcam:smile:

have you tried re-installing Outlook?
Go to Control Panel-Add/remove programs-select microsoft office and follow the instructions to reinstall.
You will need the installation CD to be inserted in your cd/dvd rom.
Before doing this I would suggest trying to start Ouloook in safe mode: start menu-click Run,type outlook /safe and hit enter.
If this doesnt help-try reinstalling Outlook per instructions above.
