Please help me stop Google.
Image

I use Thunderbird POP for many accounts.
I have several Gmail accounts.
For the last several weeks I’ve been getting a POPUP from Google to Sign in.
The popup only refers to one of my accounts.
This is not a new account.
I have seen other people (online) complain and solutions suggested.
I have Logged in to the Google account on my Browser and cannot find the recommended solution.
There must be a simple way to stop this.
Thanks.

Well, I've been using Thunderbird for many years, and I have not had this problem before with this account.
Thunderbird has worked flawlessly.
I have about 8 Gmail accounts.
I rarely sign into Gmail and when I do, I always sign out.
I do not understand what a Search Engine has to do with Email and an Email Client.
This is something new and seems to be only for one particular account.
Thunderbird collects all my messages and deletes the message in the online account.
I have Gmail, GMX, Hotmail accounts, to name a few, and it is only this one Gmail account that has suddenly become a problem.
Working for years.

I got it.
As Johnwill mentioned in post 7, "it had to do with getting OAuth2 working correctly.

I decided to log in at the Popup.
It then gave a new Popup and asked if I would like to give Thunderbird permission to access my Gmail account.
Google then sent me a whole bunch of Emails.
First asking me to confirm that I did indeed give Thunderbird permission and then telling me that "there was a sign in to my account from a new device."
I confirmed everything and all is well.
I must have missed this account when I did the OAuth2 setup on the other accounts months ago and completely forgot what I did.

Thanks for all the input from many.
Joe
