I recently bought a pc build with an asus ROG strix b650e-e board, and amd ryzen 7 8700G cpu, corsair vengeance ram (2x16gb), an xfx radeon RX 9070 swift gpu, a corsair rm850, and some ssds I had lying around. When i power the pc on, the debug lights instantly flash an orange Dram led, without cycling through any other lights. I have tried reseating the cpu, switching up ram placements, removing the gpu, changing the cmos, resetting the cmos through the motherboard's reset cmos functionality, installing the most recent bios through the bios flashback functionality, but nothing works. system lights up, yellow light, no display. please help

An orange DRAM light on your Asus ROG Strix B650E-E motherboard typically indicates a problem with the RAM, such as it being improperly seated, incompatible, or faulty. However, upon initial boot-up, the mothrboard may take very a long time to perform RAM training, so you should allow it to sit for at least 15 minutes before concluding there's a hardware issue.

Another issue is that the memory compatibility list for your motherboard doesn't list 8000 series APUs. These processors were originally intended for OEM systems and not consumer gaming builds. While Asus lists the ryzen 7 8700G APU as compatible with the motherboard, it never tested the 8000 series processors for memory compatibility. Check to see of Corsair has a motherboard compatibility wizard on their website. You will need the exact RAM model (e.g., CMK32GX5M2B6000C30).
