a DMG is an macintosh OS X file so you won't be able to "play" on a windows pc. The file will need converting to something like an .iso file to be used in XP.

.MSI is a windows installer extension file, and should just double click if ya on windows XP. if it doesn't you will need to download "instmsi.exe" from the microsoft website.
