Hello,
I am thinking about upgradeing the CPU in my Studio 1735 (32bit). I am hopeing to solve the slow load times and overall general stick in the mud sluggish performance. My XP machine is faster than than this laptop.
On boot I have noticed the Task Manager Performance graph runs about half the memory (2 out of 4gbs total), but the processor is maxed out at 100%
I was considering upgrading to a CPU I found on Ebay.
Intel Core 2 Duo SLAYY ( 010676h ) Mobile CPU | 2.50 GHz | 800 MHz FSB | 6 MB
Would this CPU work for my machine? If not I am open to tips and suggestions. Please find my current configuration below.
