Hi. I've been having BSOD(124) for quite some months. What I did
-Prime95 for 5 hours
-memtest86+ for 6 pass
both return without any error

I tried reinstalling windows but it didn't help.

OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit Retail
CPU - Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6700 @ 2.66GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz
GFX - Asus HD5750
Mobo - ASUS P5G41C-MLX
PSU - M-Life Fighting Eagle-420W PFC

Age of System - 3 years
Age of OS installation - Last Week
Original Install of OS - Vista Home edition 32 bit

Thanks in advance :)

P/S I attached some information that I think might be helpful thanks.

I'm currently having some severe eye problems. If I don't reply back, PM one of the moderators for further assistance.

The perfmon report indicated that the ATK0110 ACPI Utility driver isn't installed on your system. Please visit this link at the Asus website ( ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P5G41C-M LX ), select your OS from the dropdown menu, expand the Utilities section, and scroll down to the 4th entry (the one that says "ASUS PC ProbeII V1.04.83 Install Program for Windows 32/64bit XP & 32/64bit Vista & 32/64bit Windows 7"). Download and install this program in order to get the ATK0110 ACPI Utility driver installed. Double check by looking in the C:\Windows\System32\drivers directory for ASACPI.sys (dated 2009 or 2010)

Perfmon indicates that Windows Updates is disabled (systeminfo report confirms this). Please enable it and do the following:
Installing Windows 7 Service Pack 1
1. Visit the PC manufacturer's website and update ALL drivers. DO NOT use Windows Update or the "Update drivers" function of Device Manager.
2. Check Device Manager for any unknown/disabled devices - if there are unknown/disabled devices, fix them with the latest drivers from the device manufacturer's website (not the PC Manufacturer)
3. Visit Windows Update and get all updates
4. Visit Windows Update and get Service Pack 1 (usually under Important Updates). Read these notes for installing SP1: Steps to follow before you install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 from the Microsoft Download Center
5. Visit Windows Update and get any other available updates
Rerun the perfmon report after this and post the results with your next post (I'm looking to see if this fixes the issue with the disk que length)

There are no memory dumps present in the jcgriff2 reports - if you've deleted them from your system, please stop deleting them for the duration of the troubleshooting.

MSINFO32 reports that your I: drive is overfull - and this may be impacting the performance of your system. It's recommended that you have 15% free space for optimum performance. Your I: drive only has 20 gB free - with 75 gB being the recommended amount of free space. Please free up an additional 55 gB of space on this drive.

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol 120%) are the cause of BSOD's in many Win7 installations. Please uninstall the program, then run this free tool to ensure that the offending sptd.sys driver is removed from your system: DuplexSecure - FAQ

Once all of this is done, please post back with any further BSOD's and we'll work on them from that point on.

Good Luck!

Thanks usasma, I think the problem is with the Asus PROBE 2 driver not installed properly. Followed your instrusction and have been using for 1 day now without any sign of BSOD. Will try for 1 week more and let you know the results THANKS! :D

p/s I attached the perfmon and jcgriff report after following your steps.

I suggest these free diagnostics and stress tests. Post back with any errors that occur (I suspect either memory or processor issues).
H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link) - Test ALL of the hard drives.

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Free Online AntiMalware Resources (read the details at the link)
There are also free, bootable antivirus disks at this link: Free Online AntiMalware Resources - Bootable Disks
Then, if the above tests pass, I'd try these free stress tests:
FurMark download site: FurMark: VGA Stress Test, Graphics Card and GPU Stability Test, Burn-in Test, OpenGL Benchmark and GPU Temperature | oZone3D.Net
FurMark Setup:
- If you have more than one GPU, select Multi-GPU during setup
- In the Run mode box, select "Stability Test" and "Log GPU Temperature"
Click "Go" to start the test
- Run the test until the GPU temperature maxes out - or until you start having problems (whichever comes first).
NOTE: Set the alarm to go off at 90ÂşC. Then watch the system from that point on. If the system doesn't display a temperature, watch it constantly and turn it off at the first sign of video problems. DO NOT leave it it unmonitored, it can DAMAGE your video card!!!
If the temperature gets above 100ÂşC, quit the test - the video card is overheating.
- Click "Quit" to exit
Prime95 download site: Free Software - GIMPS
Prime95 Setup:
- extract the contents of the zip file to a location of your choice
- double click on the executable file
- select "Just stress testing"
- select the "Blend" test. If you've already run MemTest overnight please run the "Small FFTs" test instead. (run all 3 if you find a problem and note how long it takes to error out with each)
- "Number of torture test threads to run" should equal the number of CPU's times 2 (if you're using hyperthreading).
The easiest way to figure this out is to go to Task Manager...Performance tab - and see the number of boxes under CPU Usage History
Then run the test for 6 to 24 hours - or until you get errors (whichever comes first).
Monitor the CPU temperature and DON'T let it exceed 85ÂşC. If it does, then you probably have a CPU cooling problem.
This won't necessarily crash the system - but check the output in the test window for errors.
The Test selection box and the stress.txt file describes what components that the program stresses.
More details on the use of this test: Torture test your CPU with Prime95
More Video Stress Tests:
1. Thanks to VirGnarus for finding this test: https://simtk.org/home/memtest
2. Two other video stress tests (may be more stressful than FurMark):
NOTE: I have had reports that some ISP's will block this website
Video Memory stress Test - http://nvworld.ru/utilities/vmt/
Artifact Locator - http://nvworld.ru/utilities/alocator/
Sorry, but I don't read the language that this website is made in.
3. Another interesting test that came to my attention: Download - OCCT Website english
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK - the program doesn't have a whole bunch of safety features to protect you from yourself!
