I was using outlook express but for some reason it shows a message here
" Your IMAP server has closed the connection. This may occur if you
have left the connection idle for too long" I am able to send mails but not able to receive files. Could anybody please help me in this.

I have some very important emails coming in next few days so please help me in this

Who is your Email Provider? Many Internet Service Providers have changed their POP/IMAP settings. Google your ISP's and Email settings to confirm you have the correct settings.
In Outlook Express go to Tools/Accounts/Mail tab. Highlight your Mail account/Properties/Advanced tab/Server Timeouts increase it to the max.
