Maybe someone can help me out here -

Sytem:
Microft Windows XP Pro Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

Computer:
Pentium(R) 4 Celeron CPU 2.40GHz
2.41 GHz, 1.50 GB of RAM

Virtual Memory is set -

Drive: C:
Space Available 1512 MB

Custom Size:
Initial Size (MB): 1200
Maximum Size (MB) 1700

Now I read another thread and just changed it to 1024-1024 and haven't restarted yet so I don't if that will work but the problem I am having is that I put XP on a 10 gig partition. I am constantly getting running out of space on my xp partition (c). I checked my files on the partition and it only equals up to 6.11 gigs of files. I should have 3.5 gigs of space to virtual memory but this doesn't seem to be happening. Can anyone help?

Whn u calculate space on C: you must also include the space taken up by system restore. try running a disk cleanup if you havent, (system restore points take up space too) clean out ur temporary files , recycle bin files etc. Also by any chance do u have Google desktop search running? It can lead to indexing of files which may take up more room. After this run the disk defragmenter to prevent thr drive from getting fragmented and slowing down the system. See if you get more space.
