I recently installed & uninstalled XP back to 98. Now I can't connect IP Address. I can connect on a game website or modem just fine. Does anyone know the simple fix here? I would apprecciate any help.

Are you using a network? If so try reloading your network card drivers. Or you can try to uninstall all the networking stuff and re-install.
