Try this program, it lets you control everything about the start up process down to which windows services will start.

thats the same..

thing as in when u go to run and type in msconfig. no luck there, its really killing me having to wait like half a minute to a minute so i can go to my start menu.

Have you thought about wiping the drive and starting over?

According to my calculations if it takes two hours to wipe the drive and hour to load the OS, You could have done it 1,102 times for the amount of time you have spent so far trying to solve this problem.....

very funny, lol. i really dont want to do that. its just a start-up delay, not a biggie but its bugging to crap out of me! before it didnt do that at all.
