Hi Sujin, welcome to TSF

When you created the partitions, did you set the primary partition as Active? (fdisk option 2)

I don't recommend using fdisk to partition an XP drive, as the partitions can be modified/created during the XP install procedure.

When you get the 'Disk does not contain a windows XP-Compatible partition' message, you should have the option to delete/redefine any current partitions.
