I have just finished installing Windows XP Pro on my newly built pc, but after the screen that says something along the lines of:

"Install completed successfully, your computer will now reboot. After the computer reboots the setup will continue"

it tries to boot from the DVD drive and not the Hard drive.

I have changed the boot sequence but it just seems to be ignoring my Hard drive all together.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PC specs can be seen in this picture:

connect your HD in the IDE-O, and select your HD from the first boot in the Bios Setup.

None of these solutions have helped. :S

It's still trying to boot from the DVD drive and not the hard drive.

Is your hard drive a SATA one? If so are you loading drivers for it by pressing F6 during XP install? Just a thought....
