Hey guys, im new to the forum, its looking good
I really need an answer, i have a computer which i have had for a while now, fairly old, AMD 3500+ 2gb ram, nvidia 6600gt etc, however.... about 4 months ago, i went to put vista on, because it looked good and its new , but this was not a good decision, since then i have had loads of problems with graphic programmes, such as after effects, and sony vegas, and its really slowing my PC down, compared to XP.
So with this in mind, I decided to convert back to XP, when i came to put the disc in, restarted, loading the set up files, then on the first blue screen, thinks its licence agreement, i press enter and get this message
"Setup did not find any hard disk drives installed in your computer.
Makes sure any hard disk drives are powered on and propperly connected to your computer, and that the disk - related hardware foniguration is correct. This may involve running a manafactuer-supplied disagnostic
Setup can not continue, to quit press... blah blah
you proberly know the message, thought i should post it anyway. I dont have any hard drive related disk just my windows XP disk, and im really stuck. Please get back to my with any suggestions, My Hard Drive on Device manager says "Maxtor 6 Maxtor 6V200E0 SCSI Disk Device"
Thanks in advanced, Rob
