XP enounters arror during install
XP enounters error during install
I was reinstalling windows xp pro sp1 on my sata hdd, I had formated the former Windows partition, and the install proceeded with no problem. My system crashed when intalling the VIA 4in1 drivers, and consequently, I have been unable ot boot in safe mode, or reinstall on the partition. One of the error messages is "isapnp.sys is missing or corrupted, cannot boot..press R at first screen.. which of course does not work. I believe I may have damaged the mbr.. I have several other partitions on the disk, which contain important data. Does anyone know of anyway in which I can fix the trashed partition?
