Need XP driver plz

Dear all,

i bought new laptop with the following specification:

HP pavilion 2000Z
model LP327AAR
Serial 5CT133089W
product number
LP327AAR#ABA-YZJN

but the problem is with OS it comes with windows seven i and need to downgrade it to Windows XP 64, anyhow can help me please i need help from everyone, Sata driver plz.

Hello nightmoon and welcome to TSF,

Check the BIOS settings of the laptop. There should be a setting for the SATA mode. You can set it for "Compatability" or "IDE". This will allow you to install Windows XP on the system

Be sure to preserve the factory restore partition in case you need to reinstall Windows and for software warranty purposes. Be aware that HP will not support any OS except for the original shipped with the computer.

Your desktop does not support Windows XP. If a computer was shipped with Windows 7 the changes are to down grade to Windows xp is not very likely. Windows Xp is a dying OS.


Your desktop does not support or have drivers for XP from the HP website.

Windows 7 is a better version of Windows anyways. It just takes getting use to.

Your computer shipped with Windows 7. As Jack told you, HP does not have support or drivers for XP for your computer. Windows XP 64 bit is even rarer and you will have a hard time to find compatible drivers for your laptop.
