I have norton virus software installed on my windows XP shared computer... And i was wondering if there was a way i could disable norton on my account and use a free anti-virus software, but on the other accounts still use norton?

no there is not

you can only have one version of avtivirus on a system for it get shared thru out the whole system

now unless you want to install another harddrive and do a dual boot system so that all others can use one harddrive and you get to use the other harddrive for it will be setting up the computer to be 2 computers in one
