Xbox 360 controller for windows

Hi i have an wired xbox360 controller for windows when i play a game (fifa online2) if i use my gamepad about 10 minutes in it starts lagging really bad(in offline league mode against the AI)

then simply unplug the controller played for about 2 hours with keyboard (no gamepad) with no lag whatsoever i had tried so many things prior to this

so im convinced its my gamepad i just dont know how to fix this issue so i can continue playing the game with my gamepad.

any ideas ? any help greatly apprieciated
