I bought a cheap DVD player for my TV. Patched it in and put in a movie. It ran for awhile, then froze. I re-loaded and got "wrong disc". I tried a bunch of other discs and got the same messge. I took it back to store and they gave me another. It has done the exact same thing. What's up?

Commercial discs or burned discs? If they are commercial discs, the player is faulty. If they are burned discs, the player doesn't support the brand of media that you used.
