hi guys/girls

i am having a problem with my laptop (HP Pavilion dv2000 )

my problem is when i switch on my laptop after hibernating it , the keyboard starts to write different letters than it was shown in the buttons , to solve this problem i have to restart it or hold (FN) button while writing .

Silly question, but you haven't left the num lock key on have you? You probably haven't but just to make sure ;)

I'm not really sure how the hibernation file works yet, but it seems like it is corrupting your keyboard drivers. Your hardware seems to be okay because it is accepting input. Drivers are what makes sure it puts out the correct output. Try running the error checking utility by going to the tools tab in the c:\ properties. Maybe the hard drive has errors on it.

Have you tried doing a system restore yet? If it works after that then you know the problem is driver related.

Dracia thanks girl you solved my problem ;) it was i stupid mistake thanks all for helping me ;)
