Hi

I have recently bought a new pc and installed a seprate wifi connector as my router is too far away for me to plug it in.

The problem i am having is when i play wow about every 2 to 3 mins i get a huge lag spike where nothing seems to move for about 5 to 10 secs then starts working again.

I have checked the setting they are at their lowest is there anyway to find out what is causing this?

Hi.

Wireless connections really aren't the best for games. They often result in dropped packets and such, especially if you're a fair way from the router. How far away are you?

Only about 15 metre away

What happens if you move closer to your router? Does the problem stop or occur less frequently?
