I have a Windows XP laptop with following specifications.

XP Version 2002
Service Pack 2
Dell XPS MXC051
1.72 Ghz processor
1.24 RAM

Anyhow, I will get lagspikes and random dc's from World of Warcraft. For those who play, you know this will hurt my gaming experience. I just want to get the problem fixed. However, I am not able to diagnose a problem. I have been to Blizzard Tech Support and nothing they have told is able to help. Plzzzz save me!!!!

It might be your internet connection. Do you run through wireless broadband? The hops might be causing those lag spikes.

A lot of times those aren't system issues but internet issues so try to diagnose that first.

is your computer connected wirelessly to the internet or is it wired directly into your router? because wireless conections are notoriasly difficult with games and especially with WoW you need to have a reasonably constant connection. if its wirelessly connected try taking an ethernet connection directly into your computer and see how it fairs

ISP might be the problem or bad realm issue...
Does DC started suddenly or it is happening a long time by now???
I am playing on EU realm and can tell you that it can happen frequently sometimes during high population...
But most likely it is ISP problem...

P.S. I know what is feeling when you got DC all the time... ^^
