I have dsl, and I am about 1/2 mile to the sub-station. If I can get 10mb's (business dsl), do you think i will still have voice and or data packet loss If I am using a VPN and have voip through Avaya telephony. Here is my test...

That line quality URL was only a partial, so it doesn't tell us anything. With a 10mbit connection, VoIP should work fine. The VPN performance is going to be dependent on the upstream speed as well. What is the stated upstream bit rate for this connection?

That will do a decent VPN connection, I've used slower connections. Don't expect wired network speeds or anything for disk access, but it should work fine.
