First...
The first fix to ANY word problem is....
Do a search for Normal.dot and delete it...it is the main file windows uses...the blank white template you are greeted with everytime you open word...if Office doesnt find it ...it will create another copy...if it is corrupt WORD WONT work...no matter what you do
Next uninstall office...then reboot....then (dont laugh I dont know why this works but it has) DEFRAG the system....Reboot once more and reinstall....
Make sure you are up on your office SPK's as well
