Wont turn on

My laptop was working yesterday, today it will not turn on. All the lights come on but you do not hear anything click on with the power and nothing on the screen, please help. Thank you.

and welcome to the Forum

Try removing the battery and disconnecting from power for a few minutes . . then put the battery back in and connect to power to see if it will start up
