My problim is that XP seems to have forgottern how to read my CD/DVD drives.
Everything was working great and then one day I did not have any CD drives showing on Explorer or any other file manager I tried. I even tried my USB CD Recorder and it will not recognize it even though it will bring up USB Harddrives and Memory Sticks. My usb CD rom will boot from a CD and I can use some bootable tools I have but when I go back and try XP they are not there.
When I start my computer it lists any CD or DVD drives hooked up and I can also boot with a 98SE boot disk and use the CD drives in DOS mode.
