Toshiba a135--wireless was working fine but suddenly started working very slowly. Have run sev. anti-virus programs, etc. & nothing helps.
Seeems not to be picking up a very strong signal from router. Possibly wireless card going out?

Hello wildcatbw and welcome to TSF,

The first thing you will want to do is cycle the power of your network equipment.

I would start by unplugging the router and modem, waiting 30 seconds or so then plug the modem in first, then the router. Then, restart your computer and test your connection.

Hi wildcatbw,

One thing you can also do is to re-install the wireless network card drivers for you computer. Go to Toshiba's website and download and install the latest wireless network card drivers for your computer. I have fixed laptops before where the client would say their wifi is running slow or sometimes they can't connect to the wireless network. Re-installation of the wireless network card drivers fixed the issue. Hope everything works out for you.
