wireless networking with access points

Hi,

I am tring to set up a network from my house to my garage. I have two Dlink Access Points (DWL-2100AP) with two Dlink external Antennas (DWL-M60AT). One access point is connected to my Dlink Wireless router (DI-624) and the other is connected to a Dlink Switch (DSS-5+). My problem is that I cannot get the remote computer to access the internet. It wont let me connect to the access point either. The network connection says there is little or no connection. When I click on the connection to check the packets it has little or no received packets. When I access the access point on the main computer it appears that the access points are working. It seems that all my problems are on the remote computer. On the main computer I entered the AP manager and went the stats page and I am getting 97% success rate. I cannot accesss the AP manager from the remote computer. Both computers have windows xp and when I plug the remote computer into the router by cable it works fine. Any help would be greatly appreiated for I am new at this. Thanks for your support.
