Wireless Net on Laptop Disconnecting.

Alright, this isnt my problem this is my friends problem i'm just merely looking for assitance with it.. Recently her Laptop has started to drop out and reconnect to the internet at random times, alright where to start... well first she was getting pop-ups and crap.. i managed to get her to remove all of it so it became clean.. Then her net still disconnected.. perhaps she still has a virus of somesort i dont know but she refuses to send me the hijack this log so hopefully a virus isnt the problem ...

Anyway back on topic.. The laptop is running xp home sp2.. However there is another laptop on the network that connects via wireless.. no problems with it no disconnecting.. but i got her to disable wzc the only thing that did was when it dc/ed it didnt reconnect haha so that cant be the problem.. umm got her to remove wep/wpa security from her router so no passwords still same problem, updated her drivers for her network card was going good for about 4 hours then disconnected.. tried running the laptop with only the one game running that lasted about 6hours good streak! but then it fixed itself back to nice d/cing couple times an hour.. but yeah i guess all i'm asking for is some help ideas perhaps?
