My keyboard won't work while my mouse is moving. I suppose that's not a big deal for typing documents up, but for games I kind of need both the mouse and the keyboard to work simultaneously. They've worked before, and the drivers seem to be fine.
Is there some kind of option that got turned on preventing the keyboard from working while the mouse is in motion?

We can give you a better answer if we knew the make and model of the keyboard and mouse. Computer specs would be helpful also.

(I don't know much about computer hardware, is this enough information to go by?)

On the back of the keyboard it says:
Microsoft Wireless Multimedia Keyboard 1.0A

In the control panel under hardware:
Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 Keyboard
Driver Provider: Microsoft
Driver Version: 5.1.2600.0

HID-compliant Mouse
Driver Provider: Microsoft
Driver Version: 5.1.2600.0

Both devices are "working properly"

The wireless receiver:
Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Receiver 2.0A

If I need to provide more information just let me know.
