hey guys, somethin in my windows is corrupt i believe. For some reason my when i go into network connections only my local area connection shows up and my wireless connection is nowhere to be found. It use to show up right there but not anymore. I then went into control panel, then system, then device manager, but it would not let me into device manager. It said that either it didnt exist or i was not allowed to see it. Once again my wireless use to work fine, but all of a sudden it is nowhere to be found. I dont have much computer knowledge, but im dyin to fix this problem. Your help would be awsome. thanks for checkin this out.

Is it a laptop or desktop PC?

Some laptops require a PCMCIA wireless card (that might have been unplugged).
it is a toshiba laptop. It use to work perfect but i dont kno what happen. please help
If wireless wifi came with it maybe a mini-pci card came loose. But I think its more likely a software problem since device manager wont work, are you an administrator? Try going into control panel and add hardware and see if it shows up. If device manager isnt working maybe you should go to start run type sfc /scannow , you will need your xp disk ready.
thankyou

thankyou so much for helpin me out, my wireless is finally back. thanks man
