Hello everyone! I have been having a problem that seems to be developing into a worse problem as time goes on. It started off when I was playing World of Warcraft around a week back or so. I started to experience high latency issues suddenly usually while doing random heroics (if anyone here plays). I didn't notice a problem with my internet connection outside of the game, so I looked for a fix on the customer support forums and found that others were having a similar problem to me and there was no fix at the moment. As time went on I noticed that my internet became increasingly slower but still usable. Now, my internet is not only slower than it used to be, but I am frequently getting disconnected. I would appreciate any suggestions or help that I can get from you guys.

ISP: Comcast

My system spec is as follows:
Processor: AMD Phenom 4 core @3.2 GHz
Motherboard: Asus M4A79XTO EVO
Video Card: EVGA GTX 560
RAM: 12GB DDR3
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Networking Hardware:
Router: WRT54G
Wireless Adapter: WUSB54G v4 (I realize this isn't supposed to be compatible with my OS, but I have been using some other drivers that works well and has been doing so for a couple of years now)

I've tried a few things:

Calling my ISP, they said that my internet was working perfectly, so that ruled out it being my ISP
Connected with my friends laptop using my WiFi (his computer worked fine while I was lagging it up in a heroic)
Reset Modem
Reset Router
Disconnected and reconnected Wireless Adapter

Judging from what I have tried, personally I think that there is something wrong with my wireless adapter, but I'm not certain. Never had any trouble up until now. Please help! Thank you in advance

Hi and welcome to TSF,

Can you direct to your modem with an ethernet cable from your pc to modem and see if the internet connection is stable.
