Wireless driver issue

Hi there,

I have a Medion Laptop with an Atheros ar500ug adapter
Everytime I restart my Computer I get a message saying that this device can perform faster if plugged into a high speed port although it is a built in adapter and then I am unable to connect.

When I check the device manager I see there is a # symbol beside the adapter.

I have to remove the adapter and reboot in order to get a connection agian.

If you could let me know what the issue might be it would be great.

Laptop Vista service pack 2

Cheers.

Hi what is the symbol you see as a # is not one I have seen, have you any other error flags yellow! or red Xs ,have updated the driver for the device
Hi I suspected a error in your universal serial bus controllers,it may well be that you will need to uninstall all the usb drivers then reboot and windows will reinstall and see if that remedies the problem
