Hi,

I have a samsung 365E5C-S02 Laptop running Windows 8. The internet worked just fine until yesterday when it stopped working. Now I can connect to the wireless network just fine but no internet. Several other computers work on the same wireless network. I ran the troubleshooting sequence at "control panel-> troubleshooting -> network and internet " but it didn't find anything.

How do I diagnose the problem further?

Have you tired deleting the network and starting from scratch?

I had not. Ok I tried that by using the 'forget this network' option as described here:

Wireless Network Profile - Delete in Windows 8

After 'forgetting' it i reconnected and the problem remains.

Are you using a USB dongle for the wireless? If so have you installed the software for it and tried connecting with that?

Looks like the problem is gone now. I guess restarting after "forgetting the network" was the trick. Thanks Movida.
