Hi,

My wired connection has this on/off problem where it can't connect to websites often and is much slower than my WiFi devices. It happens on all wired connections on the router. Occasionally the internet works completely fine on the wired connection. However, all WiFi devices work fine even when the wired connections have problems
I've tried changing DNS and updating device software but it didn't do much to help. Happened for a long time now (from Windows 7 computers to Windows 10).

What can I do?

I live in Vancouver. CA probably stands for Canada. All drivers up to date.

I had extreme trouble trying to load this site on my desktop but absolutely no trouble on mobile.

What security/Anti-Virus software do you have installed? Try disabling it temporarily. Try a different Ethernet cable, try a different Ethernet port on the Router.
If you have a separate Router and Modem, try plugging the Ethernet directly into the modem temporarily and see if you can then access those sites.
If so, boot into Router setup and see if any sites are blocked or there are any rules in place.

I disabled my antivirus and restarted but the problem is still there. I've tried different ports on both the router and mobo but it doesn't seem to change anything either. A computer directly connected to the modem doesn't work either. However, any wireless device connects just fine, so I think the router should be fine. ISP has replaced the modem a couple times but it gets worse the longer the problem is. I'm absolutely stumped haha

Try a different computer plugged directly into the modem. If that still fails, then the modem has an issue. Get another one from your ISP.

The issue only occurs about hlf the time when I visit a specific site. For example, YouTube doesn't trigger it but XDA has about a 25% chance of locking up the internet for a minute and techsupportforum is nearly inaccessible. The modem has been replaced a couple times already. It's not a huge problem because it only happens on very few websites. The modem's WiFi works completely fine though on this site. Maybe the ISP can come over and see?
