Just a L4D survival map I have been working on. Still learning the ins and outs of the Hammer editor but I've go a pretty good grasp of it now. Not much to look at at the moment. Main thing is that 90% of the geometry is done. Just need to roughen up the ground to look like actual terrain. Same with the outer walls, they should look like cliff faces when I'm done.
Few minor details to add here and there then I'll be starting to fill the level with props. After that - textures!

Looking good.

Heres a little hint that i love doing. In the third pic you have what looks like a broken archway, what i do is turn it into a displacement and manipulate the mesh, it gives it a much natural worn look to it. Unless of cause its made out of blocks in which some of them have collapsed.

Thanks for the tip, I didn't even think to use a displacement mesh.
I've been working on the backstory a little bit and have decided on some changes so hopefully I'll have another update in a day or two.
