Is Winrar free or do I have to pay for it ?

I don't know about Winrar.
But 7Zip is free & handles any zip or compressed file you will come across.
I know it handles .iso files.

I ask cause I read this someone wrote It is free for 40 days but still it will word but throwing up Pop-up message each time open. Legally you should remove it after 40 days. is this true ?

Well, I suggest 7zip.

It will take care of all your archive files.
Free.
Do as you will though.

Winrar is not free but it does have a trial version. After the 40 day trial you are legally obligated to remove it from your system. Unless you have some very specific and advanced requirements 7zip should be more than adequate.

Using the built in 7zip options is easier than using the Windows options.

It works good.
I've used it from back when it was called EasyZip.

Right click a .zip or .rar or .iso file & see the options.

Sorry.
I just installed 7zip.
Didn't pay attention to the .exe file.
Still, editing the file types in the 7zip options works.

medab1 what I did was installed 7zip like you said am using Windows 10 I made it a default apps by file type what is your screenshot setup your showing me ?
