hi,
I’m fairly experienced with pc's and have built a few in the past but I’ve had alot of problems with the one i have built recently. I'm currently using Ubuntu to connect to the internet and i have no problems with it what so ever but when i go onto window xp sp3 it seems to have no network capabilities atall I’ve tried installing new hardware I’ve tried putting a network card in the pc and no matter what windows doesn't recognise it atall.

Any suggestions?

What is the make and model# of your motherboard? Go to Start/Run and type devmgmt.msc and press enter. In the Device Manager any devices with yellow flags need to have drivers installed. On an internet computer go to the motherboard manufacturers support/download drivers site. Type in your make and model # and download the Chipset and Network Adapter driver for your model and any other drivers you need from the Device Manager and save them to a USB Flash Drive. Install them on the troubled computer starting with the Chipset driver.
