Hi there....I had windows 7 and i wanted to be again with windows xp sp2....i tried to install it.....i booted it...no problems...but...after all done with the formating...it comes the restart...i restarted but when i let the points to go to the last....on my desk was colored leters,and my installation haven't continued....pls help me
i tried with 3 cd's but the result was the same



IM sorry for my english...i know it is bad

1.enter bios and set the option -compatible- not -enhanced-
2.instal sata drivers if your hdd is sata using f6 when install win xp.
need more info about your hdd and bios.

Look....im a little begginer...but....i know that i use SATA
and it can be something from the graphics?....i had a little more problems....i played call of duty 7 and assassins creeds 2.....some kind of games with big system requirements games.....call of duty 7 i played it for a time with little blocks but i played it....but....now.....if i try to play those games if i could because my pc is off because of colored letters....all desktop freeze and i must restart the pc...and when i restart the pc it stops at starting windows

You were not clear - did you get xp installed and it is not working properly? did the computer come with xp or win7?

my pc have 3 years....first it had windows xp...and i reinstaled it with windows 7....and now i wanted to go back to xp....i have a cd from torrent...with....windows xp and 7 but they are good
and when i tried to get back to xp...i got the problem...i will put a picture tomorrow with the problem

SATA drivers are no part of XP. You can boot into Setup (Bios) and look for a setting to change the HDD mode from AHCI to IDE or Compatibility mode. If you can't find this setting in the Bios, then you need to slipstream your motherboards SATA drivers into your XP CD using nLIte.

Your attachment picture is a little too low and to the Right to see what your bios is saying about your Drives. Except I see you have a SATA DVD Drive.

Your post screen attachment shows you that you have a 320 GB SATA HDD in Primary Master slot Drive 0. You will want to boot into the Bios (Setup) and First set the HDD S.M.A.R.T. to Enabled. this will tell you if your HDD is about to fail in the future Then you want to follow the steps in the quote above.
