I am new to running Windows XP Home. Last night I boot my computer and it just hung. When I tried to boot it in safe mode, it hung on trying to load MUP.SYS.
I use this machine on a small 3 machine network as a print server.
When I tried to boot it from a floppy formated on a Windows '98 machine with just the standard Format a:/s, I could boot but I could not see my C: drive (maybe because XP is NTFS).
When I tried to boot from the Windows XP CD ROM, I got the same message as when I boot it in Safe Mode.
Anyone have any idea about how to start my diagnostic to fix my problem? I found no info on doing a search in Google.
