windows XP boot trouble! help!

Hello all,

I'm new to this site and thought that i could hopefully find a solution for a boot problem i am experiencing on my main computer.

I was playing game when suddenly i kept hearing weird clicky noises coming out of my tower - after a couple of minutes i got the blue screen of death saying something about a kernel package fault, which told me to reboot.

Now, everytime i reboot, it will detect the harddrive etc, but it wont reach the splash screen, it just stays blank. After hitting f8, I tried all of the options it gave me (safe mode, normal, etc)

With each one i tried, it has a loading bar displayed on the bottom, which fill fill up, then the computer just reboots again - note: safe mode doesnt even work!

The only thing i can see working is if i hit DEL during the boot. Please help me escape from this constant rebooting nightmare! thanks

Oh - and the computer didnt come with any kind of XP cd :(
