2x8gb corsair vengence + 2x2gb corsair xm3
Sandisk ultra ii 960gb SSD + 3xsata2 hdd
2x80mm led fan + 7x120mm led fan

when i run zombie army trilogy (+30 chrome tabs in background + WMP) and minimize to desktop, I'm getting serious stuttering (dreamscene lagging), also getting windows color scheme prompt, cpu usage sits around 16% and ram around 7gb, Any idea why??????:ermm:

My first concern is the mix match of RAM. Do both sets have the exact same specs? If not the mobo will default to the lowest setting of RAM set? Next concern is; why do you have some much running at one time while trying to game....that in itself will cause lag...system lag and/or server lag of game.

Since this is an Intel based rig are you using the XMP setting for your RAM, especially for the Corsair Vengeance Series? Personally, I'd do away with the XM3 series all together....just remove them and leave them out.

Chrome is a massive system hog. I would suspect that causing an issue with 30+ tabs open.

yup same latency 9-9-9-24 1600mhz DIMM.....only voltage difference 1.5v vengence vs 1.65v xms3.......yup XMP profile in BIOS.

I'll try removing the ram and see thanks.

It doesn't happen with other games l4d2, insurgency, arma 3, payday 2, cod bo2, also cpu and ram usage not even using more than 35%.

If it's just this one game, then it sounds like a problem with JUST that one game.

Have you tried a reinstall of the game?

So what is the resulting timings and voltage when you set XMP? By the way if you are going to run all that ram mixed you are going to have issues unless you find a dial in point and there is no guarantee of that. It would probably be about 1.55V or 1.6V and 9-10-10-10-25 or so. meaning you are probably going to have to find a "split" difference instead of XMP. You only set XMP if all sticks are identical.
