is it necessary to sign driver in win xp 32 sp2.

when i google i got that it is necessary for win vista , win7 and other upper version.

A signed driver is not necessary in Windows. It is an extra security layer, as drivers can become corrupt by malware. If you obtained the driver from a trusted source (like the device manufacturer's website), you can go ahead and tell Windows to install it.

Windows require a digitally signed driver.

is it necessary in winxp32 kernel driver should be signed.

we had developed a kernel driver , which is properly working with winxp32,winxp64,win vista and win 7.

but certainly when one client is installing driver on its system , it gives that
Windows require a digitally signed driver.

We are using WHQL driver signing for all except for winxp 32 sp2.
because as per the microsoft documentation its not necessary to sign driver in winxp 32.

What i should do ?
Please help me out.
