Hey people.

Basically as the title says I'm having trouble with repairing windows xp. I was asked one day when i had turned my computer on to repair windows with the windows cd as some files were corrupt.
So I did what it said and when I was repairing windows at 34 minutes I'm asked to insert the driver cd for my motherboard. I do this and then the setup freezes up.

So every time i turn my computer on, the windows repair setup starts again and crashes again at 34 minutes.

I was wondering has anyone here experienced a problem like this before and figured a way to fix it. And if no one has, would it be possible for me to connect my harddrive to another computer to recover certain files i didnt back up using a recovery prog like pc inspector.

My motherboard is a p5n32e-sli if this helps at all.

I'd really appreciate any help.

Cheers Gavin.
